We make these beautiful crosses by hand here in Texas, USA. Each is made to order with love and expertise. This cross is our original design, first created in 2001; we call it The Layered Cross. Since then, we've made thousands of Layered Crosses, including hundreds of large crosses for churches and homes across the nation.
Wood Selection
Our crosses are typically made with three kinds of wood: Oak, Walnut, and Maple. We use these three because their natural colors contrast to create a gorgeous cross. These woods are the most popular choice. However, we will make yours with the domestic woods you prefer for the same price; just let us know what woods to use, and we’ll customize your cross!

We make our crosses are made with solid woods in three different styles.
1. The most popular choice is three contrasting woods; usually, Oak, Walnut, and Maple, but we can use any domestic wood to coordinate with your decor.
2. Our second option is to make your cross with one wood species. Walnut is a very popular option for this treatment, but we have made them with all kinds of woods.
3. We also make crosses using imported and specialty woods like olive wood, purpleheart, rosewood, and curly maple. We call these crosses Premium & Exotic Layered Crosses.
