We’re sharing new work from our friend—the uniquely talented artist—Rachel Adair, aka Radar. Rachel has a not-so-small obsession with buttons that dates back to her childhood. Her creativity was sparked while crafting with her grandmother when she was only eight years old!
Button Love
Today, Rachel is still in love with all kinds of buttons, old and new, typical and rare, and now her childhood collection has grown to colossal proportions! She stitches her beloved buttons into canvas to create art of all shapes and sizes.
Pushing All The Right Buttons
Rachel helped us make button art for the 365 Heartwork Card set last fall, and now she’s back at it with twelve original works that are available for you today!
Rachel makes each of these hand-stitched heartworks by lovingly selecting a mix of antique and modern buttons from her stash and assembling them on a 12 x 12-inch stretched canvas to create beautifully intricate heart shapes. Each heartwork contains buttons spanning decades—representing generations of love! 🥰
