This collection of cutting boards is handcrafted using Southern Yellow Pine because we just love its amazing grain patterns and gorgeous swirling bands! It also makes durable boards that are easy on your precious knives!
We designed these Bold & Beautiful Boards to keep your knives sharper for longer! These cutting boards will also last longer and age better than edge-grain cutting boards. We always recommend these boards for food prep. Chop, cut, slice, dice, mince, julienne, or shred—these boards can handle it all!
End-grain cutting boards are easier on your knives because when you use them, your blade cuts between the fibers of the wood—which will close up over time for a “self-healing” effect. Your knives won't leave permanent cut marks on the wood—leaving you with a cleaner, safer, and more beautiful surface.
With the porous end-grain surface of the wood facing upwards, these boards require maintenance. Gently rinse after use & condition with mineral oil to prevent drying and aging over time.
