Keeping Up

Keeping Up

| Shane Dennehey
Ever since we shifted Dennehey Design from a part-time project to a full-time business earlier this year, we've had a blast doing woodworking for a living, but we've struggled to keep up with demand.

My first mistake was overestimating how much I can build in a day. I thought I'd be able to make so much more. And then my body started telling me to slow down. Every day I'd wake up worn-out with sore muscles everywhere, especially my arms and hands.

But every day we're getting faster. I'm getting stronger, and we're getting better at prioritizing and planning our future work. I know many of you are patiently waiting for your orders to arrive. We're sorry for the wait, and we're growing through this process. We're so thankful for you and the overwhelming support you've given our business—you're making our dreams come true!

Going into this, I knew there would be challenges, but I wasn't expecting this one! I'm now relying on the Lord not only for provision but for sustaining my strength and health to keep up with demand.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. —Isaiah 41:10
