We love setting goals and resolving to do better—and New Year's Day is a great time to reflect on the events and decisions of the past year and dream about the year to come! This year we're ringing in the new year with a dazzling set of commemorative hearts.
Introducing the 2022 Collection!
This year we made hearts with inspiration from Pantone's new color of the year, Veri Peri, a pearlescent shimmer, and a hand-stamped number deboss.
How we made the hearts:
- We painted reclaimed piano wood with a red-violet-infused blue color inspired by Pantone's color of the year; Veri Peri. According to Pantone: "Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression."
- After painting both sides of the hearts, we pearlized them and added two more coats of a clear hand-rubbed satin finish.
- Using a set of antique metal punches, we debossed the numbers "2022" into the face of one side of the hearts.
- Finally, we applied one last coat of finish to seal the wood to add an extra measure of luster to every heart.

Each 2022 Collection includes six wooden hearts.
You'll get a half-dozen wooden hearts that look just like the set in the images. Each heart is painted on both sides and hand-stamped on the front.
